The SSbD25 Conference will take place at The Akademie, Empa’s dedicated conference facility in Dübendorf, Switzerland.

The Akademie is a modern venue designed to host scientific and technical events, offering a professional and well-equipped environment that reflects Empa’s commitment to innovation and research excellence.

The centre features flexible conference spaces that are suitable for plenary and breakout sessions, as well as communal areas for networking and discussions.

The venue is located just outside Zurich and is easily accessible by public transport, at approximately 15 minutes from Zurich Stadelhofen and well connected to Zurich Airport.
