IRISS workshop: Application of SSbD in materials and chemicals
Ensuring that materials are sustainable for humans and the environment, increasing recycling and using resources more efficiently requires action at an early stage of design and manufacturing. This is the first IRISS International workshop, bringing together SSbD experts from outside the EU.
Date: October 2023
Training Session for SMEs: Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design (SSbD) tools and case studies
Learn more about the SSbD concept and how to implement it in your business. In this training session, your company will get an overview of the SSbD concept, learn more about LCA methods and tools, and get an insight into the implementation of SSbD through two case studies.
Date: September 2023
Implementation of the Safe-and-Sustainable-by-Design Framework
The SSbD framework serves as a guide for safer and more sustainable products but how the framework can be implemented and operationalized is still being determined. Change Chemistry welcomes SusChem Sweden, Mistra SafeChem and IRISS representatives from IVL and CEFIC to present an industrial perspective on the implementation of the SSbD framework.
